The Sachse Mustangs basketball team (Sachse, TX), dropped 49-33 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Mt. Zion Prep Academy Warriors (Lanham, MD)
The Warriors now sport a 3-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Springdale Prep for a Freelance battle on Tuesday, December 5. Mt. Zion Prep Academy will battle a Lions team coming off a 66-43 non-league loss to Hun (Princeton, NJ). The Lions record now stands at 12-8.
The Mustangs (8-7) will now prepare for their battle against Wylie East (Wylie, TX). The Raiders come into the 6A Region II District 9 battle with a 10-4 record. In their last battle, Wylie East prevailed over Naaman Forest (Garland, TX), 66-19, in a league battle.
