Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Scott Eagles (Covington, KY) and the host Newport Wildcats (Newport, KY), saw Scott's basketball squad wallop Newport by a tally of 60-28.

With the victory, Scott improves its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Eagles host Holy Cross (Covington, KY) to confront the Indians in a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 9. The Indians come into the challenge with a record of 1-1.

Next up, the Wildcats confront the Dayton Greendevils (Dayton, KY) in a District 36 challenge, on Wednesday, December 6. Newport will attempt to improve on its 0-3 season record.
