Shabach Christian Academy (Landover, MD) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Pallotti Panthers (Laurel, MD), 57-50 in a league bout.

With the victory, Shabach Christian Academy upgrades its record to 2-2 on the campaign. The host San Joaquin Memorial (Fresno, CA) to play the Panthers in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 7. The Panthers come into the bout with a record of 1-0. San Joaquin Memorial won 78-26 in their recent non-league bout against Turlock (Turlock, CA)

Next up, the Panthers play the Paul VI Panthers (Chantilly, VA) in a non-league bout, on Sunday, December 3. Pallotti will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Panthers come into the bout with a 1-1 record after their 93-25 non-league loss to Long Island Lutheran (Brookville, NY).
