Ohio High School Basketball - Purcell Marian tipped by Pickerington Central

The Pickerington Central Tigers basketball team scored 53 points and held the visiting Purcell Marian Cavaliers to 52 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Tigers now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lakota East for a non-league contest on Sunday, December 3. Pickerington Central will meet a Thunderhawks team coming off a 64-40 league win over Fairfield (Fairfield, OH). The Thunderhawks record now stands at 2-3.

The Cavaliers (2-1) will now prepare for their contest against Anthony Wayne (Whitehouse, OH). The Generals enter the non-league contest with a 2-0 record. In their last contest, Anthony Wayne nipped Ross (Fremont, OH), 75-33, in a league bout.
