Illinois High School Basketball - Resurrection thwarts St. Edward

The Resurrection Bandits (Chicago, IL) basketball knocked off the visiting St. Edward Green Wave (Elgin, IL), 57-41 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Bandits (5-2) will now prepare for their test against De La Salle (Chicago, IL). The Meteors go into the Girls Catholic - White test with a 4-3 record. In their last test, De La Salle went down by Mother McAuley (Chicago, IL), 68-40, in a non-league test.
The Green Wave now own a 2-5 record. They play next when they host Wheaton Academy for a Chicagoland Christian test on Tuesday, December 5. St. Edward will encounter a Warriors squad coming off a 57-28 non-league win over Westmont (Westmont, IL). The Warriors record now stands at 6-1.
