The Somonauk/Leland Bobcats (Somonauk, IL) basketball felled the host Richmond-Burton Rockets (Richmond, IL), 51-41 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Bobcats (1-6) will now prepare for their bout against Plano (Plano, IL). The Reapers go into the non-league bout with a 6-4 record. In their last bout, Plano topped Streator (Streator, IL), 44-17, in a non-league bout.

Next up, the Rockets clash with the Sandwich Indians (Sandwich, IL) in a Kishwaukee River bout, on Tuesday, December 12. Richmond-Burton will attempt to upgrade on its 2-6 season record.
