In Saturday's non-league match, the visiting Salem Greyhounds basketball team scored a good 54-42 triumph over the Westside Warriors.
In their next game, the Greyhounds face the Cave City Cavemen (Cave City, AR) in a 3A Region 2 match, on Tuesday, December 5. Salem will attempt to move on its 6-2 season record. The Cavemen enter the match with a 3-4 record after their 59-48 non-league loss to Izard County (Brockwell, AR).
With the defeat, Westside moves to 5-3 on the year. The Warriors travel to Trumann (Trumann, AR) to face the Wildcats in a 4A Region 3 match on Tuesday, December 5. The Wildcats enter the match with a record of 0-6. Trumann lost 66-13 in their recent non-league match against Valley View (Jonesboro, AR)
