Texas High School Basketball - St. Joseph Academy falls to Veterans Memorial

In Saturday's non-league match, the visiting Veterans Memorial Chargers basketball team scored a good 43-27 triumph over the St. Joseph Academy Bloodhounds.

In their next game, the Chargers meet the Harlingen South Hawks (Harlingen, TX) in a 5A Region IV District 32 match, on Tuesday, December 5. Veterans Memorial will attempt to better on its 16-4 season record. The Hawks enter the match with a 10-7 record after their 45-41 non-league win over Edinburg North (Edinburg, TX).

With the defeat, St. Joseph Academy moves to 11-5 on the year. The Bloodhounds travel to St. Joseph (Victoria, TX) to meet the Flyers in a TAPPS 5A District 4 match on Tuesday, December 5. The Flyers enter the match with a record of 8-4. St. Joseph won 48-43 in their recent non-league match against Goliad (Goliad, TX)
