North Carolina High School Basketball - Thomas Jefferson beaten by Weddington

The Weddington Warriors ran past the host Thomas Jefferson Gryphons basketball team by a final score of 52-39 in Saturday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Warriors face the Butler Bulldogs (Matthews, NC) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, December 5. Weddington will attempt to move on its 4-1 season record. The Bulldogs enter the game with a 2-1 record after their 62-44 non-league loss to Ardrey Kell (Charlotte, NC).

With the defeat, Thomas Jefferson moves to 2-2 on the year. The Gryphons host Owen (Black Mountain, NC) to face the Warhorses in a non-league game on Friday, December 8. The Warhorses enter the game with a record of 0-4.
