Emery Spartans (Castle Dale, UT) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Fruita Monument Wildcats (Fruita, CO), 33-25 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Emery upgrades its record to 6-0 on the season. The Spartans host Union (Roosevelt, UT) to clash with the Cougars in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 7. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 1-0.
Next up, the Wildcats clash with the Castle View Sabercats (Castle Rock, CO) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 7. Fruita Monument will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Sabercats go into the bout with a 0-1 record after their 36-30 non-league loss to Mullen (Denver, CO).
