Glenwood Springs Demons (Glenwood Springs, CO) fans left the game thrilled Saturday as they witnessed their ice hockey team achieve victory over the visiting Chaparral Wolverines (Parker, CO), 3-1 in a non-league match.

The Demons (1-0) will now prepare for their match against Battle Mountain (Edwards, CO). The Huskies enter the 4A Mountain match with a 0-2 record.

Next up, the Wolverines encounter the Mountain Vista Golden Eagles (Highlands Ranch, CO) in a 5A South match, on Thursday, December 7. Chaparral will attempt to advance on its 2-1 season record.
