In Saturday's non-league challenge, the Cushing Academy Penguins (Ashburnham, MA) ice hockey team bounced the visiting Varsity Opponent (, ), by a margin of 9-3.
The Penguins now possess a 3-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Williston Northampton for a challenge on Wednesday, December 6. Cushing Academy will clash with a Wildcats team coming off a 5-1 non-league win over Varsity Opponent (, ). The Wildcats record now stands at 1-2.
The (7-22) will now prepare for their challenge against Holy Ghost Prep (Bensalem, PA). The Firebirds enter the non-league challenge with a 1-3 record. In their last challenge, Holy Ghost Prep tipped Bethel Park (Bethel Park, PA), 2-1, in a non-league challenge.
