St. Mark's Lions (Southborough, MA) followers left the game happy Saturday as they witnessed their ice hockey team achieve victory over the visiting Winchendon Wapiti (Winchendon, MA), 3-1 in a league match.

The Lions (2-1) will now prepare for their match against Worcester Academy (Worcester, MA). The Hilltoppers enter the match with a 0-2 record. In their last match, Worcester Academy by Berwick Academy (South Berwick, ME), 7-3, in a league match.

Next up, the Wapiti clash with the Thayer Academy Tigers (Braintree, MA) in a match, on Friday, December 8. Winchendon will attempt to improve on its 0-4 season record. The Tigers enter the match with a 3-2 record after their 5-4 league loss to Phillips Academy (Andover, MA).
