The St. Joseph Catholic Bruins basketball team scored 67 points and limited the host Copiah Academy Colonels to 34 in the Bruins non-league triumph on Monday.

The Bruins now possess a 11-1 record. They play next when they host Loyd Star for a non-league game on Tuesday, December 3. St. Joseph Catholic will confront a Hornets team coming off a 62-42 non-league loss to St. Andrew's Episcopal (Ridgeland, MS). The Hornets record now stands at 4-3.

With the loss, Copiah Academy falls to 2-4 on the campaign. The Colonels travel to Simpson Academy (Mendenhall, MS) to confront the Cougars in a non-league game on Thursday, December 5. The Cougars go into the game with a record of 8-0. Simpson Academy won 68-31 in their recent league game against Lamar (Meridian, MS)
