The Derry Trojans basketball team scored 61 points and limited the visiting Mt. Pleasant Vikings to 20 in the Trojans non-league triumph on Monday.

The Trojans now have a 1-0 record. They play next when they host Freeport for a non-league game on Wednesday, December 4. Derry will confront a Yellowjackets team coming off a 79-40 non-league loss to Chartiers Valley (Bridgeville, PA). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 0-1.

With the loss, Mt. Pleasant falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Vikings host Serra Catholic (McKeesport, PA) to confront the Eagles in a non-league game on Saturday, December 14. The Eagles go into the game with a record of 3-0.
