In Monday's non-league contest, the host St. Rita Mustangs basketball team scored a big 85-22 triumph over the Horizon Science Academy-Southwest Huskies.

The Mustangs (2-4) will now prepare for their contest against DePaul College Prep (Chicago, IL). The Rams go into the Chicago Catholic - Blue contest with a 3-1 record. In their last contest, DePaul College Prep was trounced by Kenwood (Chicago, IL), 54-52, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Huskies battle the Christian Fenger Academy Titans (Chicago, IL) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, December 5. Horizon Science Academy-Southwest will attempt to better on its 1-4 season record. The Titans go into the contest with a 4-1 record after their 85-52 non-league win over Agricultural Science (Chicago, IL).
