In Monday's league contest, the visiting Lewiston-Altura Cardinals basketball team scored a big 72-40 win over the Lourdes Eagles.
The Cardinals (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against Triton (Dodge Center, MN). The Cobras come into the AA Section 1 contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, Triton smashed New Richland-Hartland-Ellendale-Geneva (New Richland, MN), 78-26, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Eagles battle the Kasson-Mantorville Komets (Kasson, MN) in a non-league contest, on Friday, December 6. Lourdes will attempt to better on its 1-1 season record. The Komets come into the contest with a 0-1 record after their 76-58 league loss to Faribault (Faribault, MN).
