The Newman Catholic Knights basketball squad scored 82 points and held the visiting New Hampton Chickasaws to 38 in the Knights non-league victory on Monday.

With the victory, Newman Catholic advances its record to 1-0 on the year. The Knights travel to Osage (Osage, IA) to face the Green Devils in a North Iowa match on Tuesday, December 3. The Green Devils enter the match with a record of 0-0.

The Chickasaws now own a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Osage for a non-league match on Thursday, December 5. New Hampton will face a Green Devils squad coming off a 67-54 league loss to Newman Catholic (Mason City, IA). The Green Devils record now stands at 0-1.
