The crowd at Monday's non-league challenge between the Poyen Indians (Poyen, AR) and the visiting Bauxite Miners (Bauxite, AR), observed Poyen's basketball team overwhelm Bauxite by a score of 61-31.

The Indians (4-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Mt. Vernon-Enola (Mt. Vernon, AR). The Warhawks come into the non-league challenge with a 9-3 record.

In their next game, the Miners battle the Fouke Panthers (Fouke, AR) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, December 12. Bauxite will attempt to improve on its 1-8 season record.
