The Hayfield Vikings basketball team scored 67 points and limited the host Southland Rebels to 61 in the Vikings league triumph on Monday.
The Vikings now sport a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Spring Grove/Mabel-Canton for a non-league outing on Tuesday, December 3. Hayfield will clash with a squad coming off a 64-49 league win over Grand Meadow (Grand Meadow, MN). The record now stands at 2-0.
The Rebels (2-1) will now prepare for their outing against Grand Meadow (Grand Meadow, MN). The Superlarks enter the A Section 1 outing with a 1-1 record. In their last outing, Grand Meadow was nipped by Spring Grove/Mabel-Canton (Spring Grove, MN), 64-49, in a league outing.
