Nevada High School Basketball - Hug can't hold off Virginia City

Virginia City Muckers (Virginia City, NV) boosters left the game satisfied Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the host Hug Hawks (Reno, NV), 53-46 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Virginia City upgrades its record to 2-0 on the year. The Muckers travel to Pershing County (Lovelock, NV) to face the Mustangs in a non-league match on Thursday, December 5. The Mustangs enter the match with a record of 0-0.

The Hawks now sport a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Incline for a non-league match on Thursday, December 5. Hug will face a Highlanders squad coming off a 49-1 non-league win over enCompass Academy (Reno, NV). The Highlanders record now stands at 1-0.
