Alabama High School Basketball - Plainview sneaks past Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe

The Plainview Bears (Rainsville, AL) basketball edged the visiting Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe Warriors (Fort Oglethorpe, GA), 50-47 in Monday's non-league bout.

The Bears now possess a 9-1 record. They play next when they travel to Buckhorn for a non-league bout on Thursday, December 5. Plainview will play a Bucks team coming off a 57-42 non-league win over Athens (Athens, AL). The Bucks record now stands at 4-4.

With the loss, Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe falls to 0-5 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Rockmart (Rockmart, GA) to play the Yellowjackets in a AA Region 7 bout on Tuesday, December 3. The Yellowjackets go into the bout with a record of 0-3. Rockmart lost 47-34 in their recent non-league bout against East Paulding (Dallas, GA)
