The crowd at Monday's non-league challenge between the Melbourne Bearkatz (Melbourne, AR) and the host Norfork Panthers (Norfork, AR), observed Melbourne's basketball team overwhelm Norfork by a margin of 73-50.

The Bearkatz (3-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Cave City (Cave City, AR). The Cavemen come into the 3A Region 2 challenge with a 1-3 record. In their last challenge, Cave City was trounced by Mountain View (Mountain View, AR), 65-22, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Panthers battle the Yellville-Summit Panthers (Yellville, AR) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 3. Norfork will attempt to better on its 5-5 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 5-2 record after their 54-52 non-league win over Kingston (Kingston, AR).
