North Carolina High School Basketball - Montgomery Central overwhelmed by Scotland

December 2, 2024: Laurinburg, NC 28352

In Monday's non-league test, the Scotland Fighting Scots (Laurinburg, NC) basketball squad trounced the visiting Montgomery Central Timberwolves (Troy, NC), by a score of 68-47.

Next, the Fighting Scots encounter the Hoke County Bucks (Raeford, NC) in a 3A/4A Sandhills test, on Friday, December 6. Scotland will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record.

The Timberwolves (2-4) will now prepare for their test against Anson (Wadesboro, NC). The Bearcats come into the non-league test with a 1-2 record. In their last test, Anson bounced Gray Stone Day (Misenheimer, NC), 46-36, in a non-league test.
