In Monday's non-league contest, the visiting Piner Prospectors basketball team scored a close 40-35 triumph over the Petaluma Trojans.
The Prospectors (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against Healdsburg (Healdsburg, CA). The Greyhounds go into the non-league contest with a 1-2 record. In their last contest, Healdsburg nipped Roseland University Prep (Santa Rosa, CA), 52-50, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Trojans confront the Novato Hornets (Novato, CA) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, December 3. Petaluma will attempt to better on its 2-1 season record. The Hornets go into the contest with a 0-1 record after their 62-45 non-league loss to Vintage (Napa, CA).
