In Tuesday's non-league contest, the host Birdville Hawks basketball team scored a good 70-60 win over the McKinney Lions.
The Hawks (6-1) will now prepare for their contest against Fort Worth Christian (North Richland Hills, TX). The Cardinals come into the non-league contest with a 3-8 record. In their last contest, Fort Worth Christian dropped by Prestonwood Christian (Plano, TX), 50-39, in a non-league contest.
