In Tuesday's non-league contest, the visiting Collinsville Pirates basketball team scored a good 53-38 triumph over the Dodd City Hornets.
The Pirates (8-1) will now prepare for their contest against Lone Oak (Lone Oak, TX). The Buffaloes go into the non-league match with a 2-4 record. In their last match, Lone Oak notched a victory over Detroit (Detroit, TX), 58-44, in a non-league match.
The Hornets now sport a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cumby for a non-league match on Friday, December 5. Dodd City will face a Trojans squad coming off a 45-20 non-league loss to Honey Grove (Honey Grove, TX). The Trojans record now stands at 3-3.
