Ledford Panthers (Thomasville, NC) supporters left the game happy Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the visiting North Davidson Black Knights (Lexington, NC), 73-70 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Ledford advances its record to 2-1 on the year. The Panthers travel to Northwest Guilford (Greensboro, NC) to meet the Vikings in a non-league match on Wednesday, December 3. The Vikings enter the match with a record of 6-1. Northwest Guilford won 54-26 in their recent non-league match against Western Alamance (Elon, NC)

The Black Knights now own a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to West Davidson for a non-league match on Friday, December 5. North Davidson will meet a Dragons squad coming off a 62-42 non-league loss to Southwestern Randolph (Asheboro, NC). The Dragons record now stands at 0-3.
