Texas High School Basketball - Brazosport thwarts North Forest

The Brazosport Exporters (Freeport, TX) basketball knocked off the host North Forest Bulldogs (Houston, TX), 73-53 in Monday's non-league test.
The Exporters (7-7) will now prepare for their test against Hamshire-Fannett (Hamshire, TX). The Longhorns go into the non-league test with a 10-7 record. In their last test, Hamshire-Fannett went down by Hardin-Jefferson (Sour Lake, TX), 70-60, in a league test.
The Bulldogs now own a 3-6 record. They play next when they travel to Furr for a 4A Region III District 23 test on Thursday, January 6. North Forest will encounter a Brahmans squad coming off a 39-37 league win over Mickey Leland College Preparatory Academy for Young Men (Houston, TX). The Brahmans record now stands at 6-3.
