With the win, Mt. Zion upgrades its record to 6-2 on the season. The Braves travel to Taylorville (Taylorville, IL) to play the Tornadoes in a Apollo bout on Monday, December 27. The Tornadoes go into the bout with a record of 3-5. Taylorville won 53-46 in their recent league bout against Effingham (Effingham, IL)

Next up, the Cardinals play the Monticello Sages (Monticello, IL) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 21. Warrensburg-Latham will attempt to upgrade on its 10-1 season record. The Sages go into the bout with a 10-0 record after their 72-44 non-league win over Greenville (Greenville, IL).
