Weatherford Express HomeSchool Express (Weatherford, TX) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Alcuin Hawks (Dallas, TX), 47-46 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Weatherford Express HomeSchool upgrades its record to 5-10 on the campaign. The Express travel to Garland Christian Academy (Garland, TX) to play the Swordsmen in a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 21. The Swordsmen come into the bout with a record of 5-4. Garland Christian Academy won 65-30 in their recent non-league bout against Dallas Lutheran (Dallas, TX)

Next up, the Hawks play the Highlands Blazers (Irving, TX) in a TAPPS 2A District 3 bout, on Friday, January 13. Alcuin will attempt to upgrade on its 3-4 season record.
