Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Avonworth beaten by Union Area

December 20, 2022: Pittsburgh, PA 15237

In Tuesday's non-league match, the visiting Union Area Scotties basketball team scored a good 63-54 triumph over the Avonworth Antelopes.

In their next game, the Scotties meet the Riverside Panthers (Ellwood City, PA) in a non-league match, on Thursday, December 22. Union Area will attempt to move on its 3-0 season record. The Panthers enter the match with a 1-4 record after their 51-33 league loss to Beaver Falls (Beaver Falls, PA).

With the defeat, Avonworth moves to 3-4 on the year. The Antelopes travel to Deer Lakes (Russellton, PA) to meet the Lancers in a non-league match on Thursday, December 29. The Lancers enter the match with a record of 5-2.
