Beecher Bobcats (Beecher, IL) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Coal City Coalers (Coal City, IL), 77-53 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Beecher upgrades its record to 9-1 on the season. The Bobcats travel to Tri-Point (Cullom, IL) to clash with the Chargers in a River Valley bout on Wednesday, December 21. The Chargers go into the bout with a record of 0-10.

Next up, the Coalers clash with the Central Rockets (Burlington, IL) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 27. Coal City will attempt to upgrade on its 3-7 season record. The Rockets go into the bout with a 7-3 record after their 59-45 non-league loss to Glenbard West (Glen Ellyn, IL).
