Workman Lobos (City of Industry, CA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Big Bear Bears (Big Bear City, CA), 70-60 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Workman upgrades its record to 7-5 on the season. The Lobos host Animo Leadership (Inglewood, CA) to clash with the Aztec Eagles in a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 21. The Aztec Eagles go into the bout with a record of 2-6. Animo Leadership won 56-55 in their recent non-league bout against Hawthorne (Hawthorne, CA)

Next up, the Bears clash with the University Prep Jaguars (Victorville, CA) in a Cross Valley bout, on Tuesday, January 3. Big Bear will attempt to upgrade on its 4-9 season record. The Jaguars go into the bout with a 2-4 record after their 41-31 league loss to Riverside Prep (Oro Grande, CA).
