The Milford Spartans basketball team scored 48 points and held the host Bishop Brady Giants to 43 in the Spartans league triumph on Tuesday.

The Spartans now sport a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Plymouth for a Division II contest on Tuesday, January 3. Milford will meet a Bobcats team coming off a 65-63 league win over Stark (Weare, NH). The Bobcats record now stands at 2-2.

The Giants (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Hanover (Hanover, NH). The Bears enter the Division II contest with a 0-2 record. In their last contest, Hanover was nudged by Pembroke (Pembroke, NH), 50-40, in a league contest.
