The Bucksport Golden Bucks basketball team scored 53 points and restricted the host Hermon Hawks to 44 in the Golden Bucks league victory on Tuesday.
The Golden Bucks now sport a 3-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Orono for a B North contest on Thursday, December 22. Bucksport will battle a Riots team coming off a 64-53 league win over Foxcroft Academy (Dover-Foxcroft, ME). The Riots record now stands at 3-0.
The Hawks (1-2) will now prepare for their contest against John Bapst Memorial (Bangor, ME). The Crusaders come into the B North contest with a 0-5 record. In their last contest, John Bapst Memorial dropped by Houlton (Houlton, ME), 51-43, in a non-league contest.
