The Scotland Highlanders basketball team (Scotland, SD), dropped 57-39 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the host Burke Cougars (Burke, SD)

The Cougars now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Jones County for a non-league battle on Tuesday, December 27. Burke will battle a Coyotes team coming off a 61-51 non-league win over Stanley County (Fort Pierre, SD). The Coyotes record now stands at 1-2.
