Sandy Pioneers (Sandy, OR) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Caldera (Bend, OR), 75-57 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Sandy upgrades its record to 5-1 on the season. The Pioneers travel to McMinnville (McMinnville, OR) to play the Grizzlies in a non-league bout on Wednesday, January 4. The Grizzlies go into the bout with a record of 5-3.

Next up, the play the Henley Hornets (Klamath Falls, OR) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, December 21. Caldera will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record.
