The North Star co-op [Cando/Bisbee-Egeland] Bearcats (Cando, ND) basketball knocked off the visiting Des Lacs-Burlington Lakers (Des Lacs, ND), 59-47 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The Bearcats (2-0) will now prepare for their test against Warwick (Warwick, ND). The Warriors go into the B Region 4 test with a 2-0 record.

The Lakers now own a 2-1 record. They play next when they travel to Beulah for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 3.
