Delaware High School Basketball - Dickinson can't hold off Newark

The Newark Yellowjackets basketball team scored 39 points and held the visiting Dickinson Rams to 37 in the Yellowjackets league triumph on Tuesday.

The Yellowjackets now sport a 2-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. Mark's for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 22. Newark will battle a Spartans team coming off a 73-20 non-league win over Red Lion Christian Academy (Bear, DE). The Spartans record now stands at 3-2.

The Rams (0-4) will now prepare for their contest against Tatnall (Wilmington, DE). The Hornets enter the non-league contest with a 3-1 record.
