Flatonia Bulldogs (Flatonia, TX) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Dime Box Longhorns (Dime Box, TX), 65-39 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Flatonia upgrades its record to 16-0 on the season. The Bulldogs host Smithville (Smithville, TX) to clash with the Tigers in a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 21. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 5-8. Smithville lost 63-44 in their recent league bout against Manor New Tech (Manor, TX)

Next up, the Longhorns clash with the McDade (McDade, TX) in a 1A Region IV District 29 bout, on Tuesday, January 3. Dime Box will attempt to upgrade on its 1-7 season record. The go into the bout with a 3-7 record after their 61-35 league loss to North Zulch (North Zulch, TX).
