    The Douglas County West Falcon (Valley, NE) basketball knocked off the visiting West Point-Beemer Cadets (West Point, NE), 56-38 in Tuesday's non-league test.

    The Falcon (5-1) will now prepare for their test against Logan View/Scribner-Snyder (Hooper, NE). The go into the non-league test with a 2-3 record. In their last test, Logan View/Scribner-Snyder notched a victory over Tekamah-Herman (Tekamah, NE), 59-33, in a non-league test.

    The Cadets now own a 2-4 record. They play next when they travel to Fort Calhoun for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 3.
