With the win, Galesburg-Augusta upgrades its record to 2-1 on the season. The Rams host Black River (Holland, MI) to clash with the Rats in a non-league bout on Friday, January 6. The Rats go into the bout with a record of 1-3.

Next up, the Lions clash with the Battle Creek Academy Tigers (Battle Creek, MI) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 3. Maple Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 2-1 season record.
