The Steinert Spartans basketball team (Hamilton, NJ), was overwhelmed 64-38 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Hamilton Hornets (Hamilton, NJ)

The Hornets now possess a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Nottingham for a Colonial Valley battle on Thursday, December 22. Hamilton will battle a Northstars team coming off a 64-53 league win over West Windsor-Plainsboro North (Plainsboro, NJ). The Northstars record now stands at 2-1.

The Spartans (1-3) will now prepare for their battle against New Egypt (New Egypt, NJ). The Warriors come into the non-league battle with a 1-2 record. In their last battle, New Egypt was overwhelmed by Cinnaminson (Cinnaminson, NJ), 73-27, in a non-league battle.
