Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Hot Springs Bison (Hot Springs, SD) and the host New Underwood Tigers (New Underwood, SD), saw Hot Springs's basketball squad wallop New Underwood by a tally of 56-26.

With the victory, Hot Springs improves its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Bison host Spearfish (Spearfish, SD) to confront the Spartans in a non-league challenge on Thursday, December 29. The Spartans come into the challenge with a record of 1-0.

Next up, the Tigers confront the Harding County Ranchers (Buffalo, SD) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, December 29. New Underwood will attempt to improve on its 2-1 season record. The Ranchers come into the challenge with a 2-0 record after their 52-43 non-league win over Grant County co-op [Carson/Elgin-New Leipzig/Mott-Regent] (Elgin, ND).
