With the win, Indian River upgrades its record to 2-4 on the season. The Braves host Booker T. Washington (Norfolk, VA) to clash with the Mighty Bookers in a non-league bout on Wednesday, January 4. The Mighty Bookers go into the bout with a record of 3-2.

Next up, the Saints clash with the Kempsville Chiefs (Virginia Beach, VA) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, January 4. Nansemond-Suffolk Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 3-5 season record. The Chiefs go into the bout with a 5-3 record after their 42-30 non-league loss to Grafton (Yorktown, VA).
