The Kennedy Eagles basketball team scored 71 points and restricted the visiting Wolcott Eagles to 50 in the Eagles non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Eagles now sport a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Derby for a non-league contest on Friday, December 23. Kennedy will battle a Red Raiders team coming off a 68-43 non-league loss to Naugatuck (Naugatuck, CT). The Red Raiders record now stands at 0-2.
The Eagles (0-2) will now prepare for their contest against Woodland Regional (Beacon Falls, CT). The Hawks come into the non-league contest with a 0-2 record. In their last contest, Woodland Regional was routed by Oxford (Oxford, CT), 67-66, in a league contest.
