With the victory, Shamokin Area improves its record to 4-1 on the campaign. The Indians host Wellsboro (Wellsboro, PA) to confront the Hornets in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 27. The Hornets come into the challenge with a record of 2-0.

Next up, the Lancers confront the Bloomsburg Panthers (Bloomsburg, PA) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, January 4. Loyalsock Township will attempt to improve on its 2-2 season record.
