McAdory Yellowjackets (McCalla, AL) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Mount Pisgah Christian Patriots (Johns Creek, GA), 62-54 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, McAdory upgrades its record to 8-5 on the campaign. The Yellowjackets travel to Cherokee County (Centre, AL) to play the Warriors in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 27. The Warriors come into the bout with a record of 1-0. Cherokee County won 77-59 in their recent non-league bout against Alexandria (Alexandria, AL)

Next up, the Patriots play the Grace Christian Academy Lions (Franklin, TN) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, December 21. Mount Pisgah Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 6-4 season record. The Lions come into the bout with a 5-7 record after their 71-62 non-league loss to Bullitt East (Mt. Washington, KY).
