McLean County Cougars (Calhoun, KY) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Union County Braves (Morganfield, KY), 63-36 in a non-league bout.

With the win, McLean County upgrades its record to 7-2 on the season. The Cougars host Shoals (Shoals, IN) to clash with the Jug Rox in a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 28. The Jug Rox go into the bout with a record of 4-2. Shoals won 47-45 in their recent non-league bout against Lighthouse Christian Academy (Bloomington, IN)

Next up, the Braves clash with the Muhlenberg County (Greenville, KY) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, December 28. Union County will attempt to upgrade on its 2-4 season record. The go into the bout with a 1-5 record after their 52-37 non-league win over Wolfe County (Campton, KY).
